IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Because of recent events surrounding the Coronavirus we, like most other churches in Central Michigan, are taking some steps to make sure we are keeping people safe and healthy.

Starting immediately Central Church will be canceling all large group gatherings, until further notice, including Sunday morning services. Small groups will be continuing at the discretion of the leader of each group. Pursuit will not be meeting during this time.

We will still be streaming the Sunday messages here on Facebook at 10am so we can still move forward together in growing through God's Word.

Adam will be in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to address any needs anyone may have and to be available if anyone wants to drop off tithes/offerings.

We were scheduled to take up the special offering for Ghana this Sunday 3/15 and would still like to collect those gifts and send them out ASAP. If you would like to give toward this you can drop it off at the church on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 9am-3pm

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Adam or one of the other elders so we can address them.

Please continue to pray for any and all that are struggling during this time with either sickness, stress, or worry. We are choosing to walk this out with faith and not fear... trust and not terror.

2 Tim. 1:7 "God has not given us a Spirit of fear but of power, of love, and of a sound mind"

Qualifications

This is a trustworthy saying: "If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task" (1 Timothy 3:1). This "noble task" has clearly defined qualifications for the men of God who will "shepherd the flock of God" (1 Peter 5:2) and they are found in Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7. God inspired the Apostle Paul to speak these words to every pastor: "Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood" (Acts 20:28).
