Welcome

Please allow me to welcome you to Central Church and say that you matter to us because you matter to God. Thank you for choosing a church where Jesus Christ is honored, the Bible is taught, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Feel at home and at ease during your visit. If there is any way we can assist you, please feel free to talk to me or one of the other pastors.

“Where Christ and People are Central”

At Central Church we believe the good news about Jesus—that He lived a perfect life, died a sinless death in our place, (John 3:16-17), and rose from the grave as a free gift for us (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). In light of this good news, we live a life of gratitude and extend Jesus’ love to others. Central Church is a place where both Christ and people matter. We gather together every Sunday at 10 AM for our service. You’re welcome to come for coffee/tea and fellowship before the service at 9:45am.

Questions & Answers

If you do not see your question answered here, feel free to call the church office and let us know how we can serve you.

What should I wear if I visit your church?

We want you to come just as you are. Most people wear whatever makes them comfortable.

What do you do during your worship service?

From 9:45am-10am we offer coffee and tea and a time to chat with others. After a warm welcome, we start our service at 10am with some singing to express our thanks to God. You will also hear a Bible-based sermon after that. We take Communion (1 Corinthians 11:23-26) together on the first Sunday of the month.

Will there be instruction for young children?

Yes! We love you AND we love children. Jesus wanted all of the children to come to Him and we feel the same way about your kids. Our hope is that your young ones will sing and pray right along with the rest of us. Before the sermon starts, we offer an opportunity for any child (age 4-5th grade) to join in with our Children’s Ministry (Kids’ Quest). But children are welcome to stay in the service, if you prefer. A nursery is provided for the entire service for children ages 0-3. Your child can be dropped off at the nursery prior to the service or can go in the nursery before the sermon—whichever you prefer.

Will you ask me to give you any money?

Because God has given us everything in Christ, many people want to give and help support our church. So we provide a time during the service for them to do so. However, no one is ever pressured to give because the good news is ALWAYS a free gift. We just want you to come and receive what God gives.
